What is Famishly?

Famishly is a marketplace for local food sellers. For food trucks, it solves two real problems: the line that drives customers away at peak hours, and the dead time while you are parked and nobody knows you are there.

Customers follow your truck, get notified when you post your next location, pre-order from your menu before you park, and join a live numbered queue by scanning the QR at your window. You cook, they wait without standing in line.

9% on online orders only - 8% to Famishly, 1% to a food charity your customer picks, plus a 2% buyer service fee (so 2% total reaches charity). Cash at your window: 0%.

    Add your truck name, a banner photo, your city, and a short description. This is your public URL - famishly.com/your-truck-name.

    List your top 5 to 8 items with photos and prices. Bright photos with the truck in the background do best. Add dietary tags for search.

    Connect Stripe payouts

    Link your bank account through Stripe to receive payouts. Required before your first online order is paid out.

Common questions

Do I need a food permit or truck licence?

Famishly does not require permits to sign up - we are the ordering platform, not the regulatory authority. You are responsible for any permits, licences, and health inspections required by your city or province. Most city truck programmes already require these.

How do customers know where I am?

You post your location from the dashboard before each service. Followers get a push notification. You can also share your truck page link on social media with the location details. A permanent parking spot? Leave it pinned on your page.

What if I move mid-service or sell out?

You can mark items as sold out one-by-one from your queue dashboard, or close your entire service window early. Any orders placed while a product is available are valid; you fulfil those.

Can I also do market days through Famishly?

Yes. You can add Vendor mode to your account from Account Modes. Vendor mode lets you join farmers markets, appear in the market section, and use the market-day QR in addition to your regular truck setup.

Is there a Pro plan for trucks?

Yes. Famishly Pro ($12.99/month) gives you featured placement in the app, a Pro badge on your storefront, priority search ranking, and a direct marketing tool to broadcast updates to your follower list.
