- 1 lb package phyllo dough
- 2 cups chopped walnuts and pistachios
- 1 cup melted unsalted butter
- 5 ml cinnamon
- 1.25 ml cloves
- 240 ml sugar
- 120 ml water
- 120 ml honey
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 10 ml rose water

Instructions
- Step 1.Make syrup: boil sugar, water, honey, lemon, rosewater. Cool.
- Step 2.Layer 8 sheets phyllo in buttered pan, brushing each with butter.
- Step 3.Spread nut-cinnamon mixture. Layer 4 more sheets. Repeat layers.
- Step 4.Top with 8 final sheets. Score into diamond shapes. Bake at 350F 45 min until golden.
- Step 5.Immediately pour cold syrup over hot baklava.
