Ingredients

- 60 ml blanco tequila, 100% agave
- 30 ml orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or triple sec
- 30 ml fresh lime juice, from about 1 lime
- 1 to 2 tsp (5-10 ml) agave nectar, to taste
- for the rim kosher or coarse salt
- 1 wedge lime wedge, for the rim and garnish
- as needed ice

Instructions
- Step 1.Rub a lime wedge around the rim of a rocks glass, then dip the rim in coarse salt to coat.
- Step 2.Fill the prepared glass with ice and set aside.
- Step 3.Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Step 4.Add the tequila, orange liqueur, fresh lime juice and agave nectar to the shaker.
- Step 5.Shake vigorously for about 10 to 15 seconds until well chilled.
- Step 6.Strain the margarita into the salt-rimmed, ice-filled glass.
- Step 7.Garnish with a fresh lime wedge.
- Step 8.Taste and add a touch more agave if you prefer it sweeter.
