Ingredients

- 1 head (about 400 g) romaine lettuce, chopped
- 250 g cooked chicken breast, diced
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 150 g cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1 (about 150 g) avocado, diced
- 3 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
- 40 g blue cheese, crumbled
- 30 ml red wine vinegar
- 30 ml olive oil
- 5 ml Dijon mustard
- 2 g kosher salt
- 1 g black pepper
Make it your way
Instructions
- Step 1.Whisk the red wine vinegar, olive oil, Dijon mustard, salt and pepper together in a small bowl to make the dressing.
- Step 2.Spread the chopped romaine across a large platter or divide it among four plates as a base.
- Step 3.Arrange the diced chicken, chopped egg, halved tomatoes, diced avocado, crumbled bacon and blue cheese in distinct rows across the top of the greens.
- Step 4.Drizzle the dressing evenly over the salad just before serving.
- Step 5.Bring to the table arranged, then toss gently at the table so each portion gets a bit of everything.
