- 120 ml jasmine rice
- 1.44 l chicken broth
- 480 ml water
- 4 slices ginger
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 ml sesame oil
- to serve soy sauce
- to serve green onions
- to serve soft-boiled egg

Instructions
- Step 1.Rinse rice. Add to pot with broth, water, ginger, and garlic.
- Step 2.Bring to a boil, then simmer 45-60 min until rice breaks down into a silky porridge.
- Step 3.Stir occasionally, add water if needed. It should be thick and flowing.
- Step 4.Drizzle with sesame oil. Serve with toppings.
