- 793.8 g canned San Marzano tomatoes
- 45 ml olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- handful fresh basil
- 5 ml salt
- 5 ml sugar
Make it your way
Instructions
- Step 1.Warm oil over medium heat. Add whole crushed garlic cloves.
- Step 2.Cook garlic until golden, 2-3 min, then crush the tomatoes by hand into the pan.
- Step 3.Simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
- Step 4.Remove garlic. Tear in basil. Season with salt and sugar.
