  • 793.8 g canned San Marzano tomatoes
  • 45 ml olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • handful fresh basil
  • 5 ml salt
  • 5 ml sugar

Instructions

Plan my prep
  1. Step 1.Warm oil over medium heat. Add whole crushed garlic cloves.
  2. Step 2.Cook garlic until golden, 2-3 min, then crush the tomatoes by hand into the pan.
  3. Step 3.Simmer 20 min, stirring occasionally.
  4. Step 4.Remove garlic. Tear in basil. Season with salt and sugar.
