  • 350 ml brewed hot coffee, freshly brewed
  • 14 g grass-fed unsalted butter, or ghee
  • 15 ml MCT oil, start with 1 tsp if new to it

Instructions

Plan my prep
  1. Step 1.Brew 1 1/2 cups of hot coffee using your preferred method.
  2. Step 2.Add the hot coffee, butter and MCT oil to a blender. Always use a blender, not a spoon, or the fat will float instead of emulsifying.
  3. Step 3.Secure the lid with a towel on top to guard against hot splatter.
  4. Step 4.Blend on high for 20 to 30 seconds until thick, frothy and latte-like with a creamy foam on top.
  5. Step 5.Pour into a mug and drink immediately while hot and emulsified.
  6. Step 6.If new to MCT oil, begin with 1 teaspoon and increase gradually over several days to avoid digestive upset.
