Ingredients
2 servings
- 480 ml cooked day-old rice
- 2 eggs
- 113.4 g shrimp or chicken
- 3 shallots
- 3 cloves garlic
- 30 ml kecap manis (sweet soy sauce)
- 2.5 ml shrimp paste (terasi)
- 1-2 bird's eye chili
- 30 ml vegetable oil
- 2 green onions
Make it your way
Instructions
- Step 1.Blend shallots, garlic, chili, shrimp paste to a paste.
- Step 2.Fry paste in oil until fragrant, 2 min.
- Step 3.Add shrimp/chicken, cook through.
- Step 4.Add rice, toss over high heat. Add kecap manis.
- Step 5.Fry eggs separately. Serve rice topped with egg and green onions.
