  • 720 ml all-purpose flour
  • 120 ml sour cream
  • 1 egg
  • 2 lbs boiled potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar
  • 60 ml butter
  • 2 large onion
  • 5 ml salt

  1. Step 1.Make dough: mix flour, sour cream, egg, salt. Knead until smooth. Rest 30 min.
  2. Step 2.Mash potatoes with cheese and half the butter. Season.
  3. Step 3.Roll dough thin. Cut circles. Fill and seal, pressing edges firmly.
  4. Step 4.Boil in salted water until they float, then 2 min more.
  5. Step 5.Pan-fry in butter with caramelized onions until golden.
