  • 907.2 g pork shoulder
  • 822.15 g canned hominy
  • 5 dried guajillo chilies
  • 2 dried ancho chilies
  • 1 onion
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 5 ml cumin
  • 5 ml oregano
  • 1.44 l chicken broth

  1. Step 1.Toast chilies, soak in hot water 20 min. Blend with garlic, cumin, oregano.
  2. Step 2.Brown pork in a pot. Add broth and simmer 90 min.
  3. Step 3.Remove pork, shred. Add strained chili sauce to broth.
  4. Step 4.Add hominy and shredded pork. Simmer 20 min.
  5. Step 5.Serve topped with shredded cabbage, radish, lime, and oregano.
