- 50 g whole wheat flour
- 50 g all-purpose flour
- 100 g water (unchlorinated, room temperature)
Make it your way
Instructions
- Step 1.Day 1: Mix 50g flour and 50g water. Leave loosely covered 24 hours.
- Step 2.Days 2-7: Discard half. Add 50g flour and 50g water. Stir. Leave 24 hours.
- Step 3.By day 5-7 you should see consistent bubbling and doubling.
- Step 4.Starter is ready when it doubles in 4-8 hours after feeding and smells pleasantly sour.
